TRUE LOVE
SCULPTURE PROJECT STARTED IN MADRID, SPAIN, 2024
"True Love" brings the iconography of the dog, a recurring figure in the artist's work, into the realm of volume. Unlike Piano Bull, with three legs because it is a grand piano, this new character has six: a symbolic choice that alludes to the emotional weight these animals carry for us.
Standing on tiptoe, in a fragile yet determined gesture, the sculpture reaches out toward the viewer, as if trying to reach them and offer a heart. This gesture encapsulates the essence of the work: a tribute to the unconditional, silent, and profoundly healing love that animals offer us.
More than representing the dog, the piece embodies what he means: refuge, empathy, and a form of love that sustains even what is left unsaid.
