SEBASTIÁN BOESMI INAUGURATED “ORDER IN CHAOS”
The recently inaugurated exhibition of Paraguayan visual artist Sebastián Boesmi is now open at Matices Art Gallery (Cruz del Defensor 241, Villa Morra). The show, titled “Order in Chaos,” features sculpture, painting, and video art, with the highlight being the Piano Bull sculpture, measuring 117 cm high, 130 cm long, and 80 cm wide, which arrived specially from Madrid, Spain, where the artist resides.
“It is a unique piece, made of bioplastic and ceramic, coated with fiberglass, hand-painted and lacquered, which gives it a shine and a mirror effect,” Boesmi explained.
The exhibition will be open until Saturday, September 20th, with a special invitation for people with visual impairments who, through Navi Lens codes, will be able to access the curatorial text and commentary to understand and explore the works. Boesmi decided to make this exhibition inclusive, inspired by a visually impaired person who visited his last exhibition in Paraguay, whose companion explained each piece to them verbally. Furthermore, continuing his experimental workshop project, the artist will offer free workshops for art students and people with a visual arts project.
